Students have the opportunity to apply to one of the scholarships: Academic Excellence, for students who have an average of 80% or higher, and the Community Work Scholarship, for students who are involved and go above and beyond in community involvement, regardless of their grades in school.
Students can apply to one or both.
We would like to recognize the achievements of students who have been consistent in demonstrating their ability to perform, achieve and/or excel in scholastic activities. Students wishing to apply for this scholarship must have a grade 12 average of 80% or higher.
Since the implementation of the requirement for students to complete 40 hours of community involvement as one of the requirements to receive their high school diploma, students have been actively participating in different activities to support their communities.
We are looking for those students who have gone above and beyond the required 40 hours, those who have created a program, or those who have helped in the growth of an existing program. Students who want to be considered should register and should be able to provide a summary of their activities including dates, results and future projects if any.
Students who are interested in the Community Work scholarship, must present a summary of their community work.
